Jo might be asthmatic
Dr lim said jo might be asthmatic :(
She said he has to back for a review in 3 days time. Sure hope he does not have to be hospitalised. Timo was hospitalised when he was 1. I cried myself silly then. My poor poor boys :(

Rain
It is still raining. Looks like sky's not going to clear.
Sigh. I hate riding in the rain. But i cannot wait in office any longer.
My mil tells me jo's feeling worse and drank only 3oz today. Have to take
him to dr lim again.
Mia
Speaking of mixed parentage, I told Andria that I've forgotten to mention her Mia in my blog. Well, Andria & Mia were supposed to visit us in May, so out of sight , out of mind (just kidding Andria).
Mia turned 1 this month. Pity we could not celebrate her birthday together. Timo would have loved to be at her birthday party, although, he does still have phobia over the long flight to America. On & off, he'll tell me that Mia's beautiful, & that she looked like a princess from his Disney shows :)
No more Mackers for lunch
For the sake of timo, i have had lunch at Macdonald's for the third day in a row. The toys that came with the happy meals are characters from pooh and the Huffalump Movie, and timo does not like burgers. So there i was, munching on the cheese burger and telling myself that i had one more toy to get, a thought crossed my mine. When jo is older, i may have to eat twice as much! Yuck!! Do not think i can take it! Of course i can say no, but what to do when tv ads are so persuasive to my boy, and he in turn is so persuasive to me.p>
Jo's hair is back
Just realised that Jo's hair has been growing pretty fast. The shiny plate is gone. In place, is a fine layer of baby hair. As for me, am still looking a lil bald where my side parting is. But I am really glad that the big, fat bunches of free falling strands are quite a thing of the past now. I do see strays here & there, but nothing that will cause panic bouts.
Another mommy recommended that I check out this website. It's quite useful. Suggested that I use shampoos and conditioners that contain biotin and silica. My current do not, so will keep a look out during next trip to the supermart. Thanks Slushy n Babes!

Happy 5 mths Bella!
Bella turned 5mths yesterday. Jo, a week before. Both are still on total breastmilk. As each mth after 3mths passes, I kinda cheer myself on and give myself a pat on my back. My previous attempt with Timo was such a spectacular failure. So wrought with pain and so plagued with mastitis. Agnes expressed milk at our place last night and lamented that her milk supply has dwindled dramatically. Mine, on the contrary, was still copious. I am averaging 250-300ml per expression, and there are some 30 bots in the freezer. Agnes said she no longer has let down and that her boops do not hurt even if she neglects them for the day. Now, I am not gloating, but rather, am fearful. My let downs are hourly, and my boopsies get all lumpy and hurts when I ignore the 4hr timeline. All is good and rosey now. But how do I stop this when I hit my 1 year target? Ooo. I shudder at the thought of revisiting mastitis. Previously, on the 4th and final episode of the infection, I prayed that no other mothers go through what I had - excruciating pain that made labor a walk in the park, skinless nipples, and pink blood stained milk with large tablespoon sized milk curds. Now, I pray hard for myself. I am so fearful that I have contemplated expressing milk for several more years til the ducts just run dry somehow. Well, we'll see how.
