Day 4 in hospital

Today is the 4th day that jo is in hospital. Doc did their rounds (what a sight, an empress dowager looking senior consultant, accompanied by her entourage of 5 consultants and interns) and said jo needed another night of treatment. I guessed just as much.

He is still very chesty. Had to breathe through his mouth all night, and yet, was woken up several times cos breathing rythm was interupted somehow. He also threw up phelgm 3x, which was good, but not sufficient. Doc and nurses administered nose and throat suction several times. Poor baby has to go through the trauma.

Phelgm and mucus were stained with a tinge of blood. Poop also turned greenish (doc said cos his weak body system cannot properly digest the milk). Plus with his diarhhoa, the skin around his anus has torn. Poor, poor baby :(
