Halloween @ Agnes' Condo

Can't reall what we did last Halloween. Was too preggy I suppose. The eyar before last, I think Timo went as Super Boy. This year, we had the cloak, the wane, & Timo's glasses. Thought he'd look like Harry Potter. But after son long, he's still bent on going as Shark Boy. I totally forgot that Halloween's here, & did not prepare his fin in advance. Andy & I scrambled to make a very rough cut out of cardboxes, & we simply stuck it on wiht heaps of masking tape. Am pretty pleased with how the outfit turned out. Andy was grumbling, saying that who the heck knows what his costume is. But some could! Some parents even asked Timo `Where's Lava Girl'?! At least some parents did watch the movie & recognized what we were attempting.

Another big toy

Could not resist getting yet another bulky toy for Timo. Saw an ad on the supermarket notice board - a used Chicco kitchen set for $30. It was in such a good condition & with accessories too. I could not pass it up. Thought it will be well used cos Danielle, Bella & Joshua could play with it as well. Hehee... good thing my MIL did not make a fuss about it.

Timo's 1st School Concert

Thought I would have cried a lil, cos afterall, it's the 1st time my baby's on-stage. Was surprised I did not, esp. when we realised only then, that he had not been talking nonsense. He really was in the front row, & in the middle too. Andy was so proud. Thought he looked like a star! He danced so well that it was a lil worrisome. Andy jokingly asked if Timo was that good a dancer, or was he 'one of the girls'??? I loved the way his teacher styled his hair with gel, although I wish she had gone easy on the blusher & lipstick... Anyway, I was busy (like most parents there) filming, & Andy was busy taking photos.

Mia's back to visit

Mia's back to visit. This time round, she's putting up at our place. The cousins are having a good time playing together :)

Happy Birthday Agnes

As usual, kids will scamble for the best spot with the cake. Joshua's trying to figure out what to do with the knife.

Happy 9 mths to Jojo

Pat sent me this sms when we arrived in Singapore: "Welcome back! And Happy 9 mths to Jojo!!!"

9 months old?!!  Andy & I totally forgot!!  

Only 3 months to go till the big ONE :)

Quinny Zapp

We succumbed to the design of Quinny Zapp. Well, at least for me. Andy loved the way it moved as he pushed it all around the MotherCare store. When I 1st saw it, I thought it looked queer. Somehow, the unique & sporty design grew on me as I saw more on the streets. Anyway, the deed was done this afternoon. It's our most expensive stroller to date, & our 6th one. This should be the last one. We went through 3 with Timo, & now, another 3 with Joshua.

And of course, Timo wanted something from the store too. We had to get him this pair of rubber boots that he insisted on getting. It was on sale, & would complement his Halloween outfit - Shark Boy. Then, of course, with Joshua's now old (only 3 months old) stroller vacant, who was so happy to lay claim on it, but Timo. We'll be bringing this to HK, & if it gets stolen or thrashed, so be it.

Dinner @ Changi Village

This is my FIL's new favourite dinner spot. We've been here like 2 or 3 weekends in a row. Seafood's good, plus with cold beer. The kids love the open space to play before & after dinner.

Exhaustion

I've started new job only last Thurs & am totally exhausted. Maybe I'm too used to my short stinct as a SAHM, or maybe cos I have been coming home late, or maybe cos I've to work Sat after being so used to 5-day work weeks for the past 3 years, or maybe cos Joshua's been up every 1.5 hours to feed, or maybe it's a combination of all the above. Whatever it is, I cannot take it anymore. Told Andy he has to do the 2nd shift from now on. Hope that provides some form of relief for me.
