just a mommy
In Yr 2005, I became a mommy 2nd time round. You might think that with experience, the role is easier to slip into. Well, the answer to that is, `yes' and `no'. It is made more challenging, especially when there are other roles; wife, daughter, sister, friend, & employee. I am not a super being. I could never manage without so many supportive people in my life. Yet, above everything else, I am enjoying every moment with my 2 little boys. After all, I am but, just a mommy.

ha! looks like u hv no time except juz to upload the pix for the moment :) HK Disney doesn't seem crowded. Read the news that the crowd was unexpectedly small during the Golden week. & yr SIL is so brave to bring her 2 kids along! How's the overall rating on the trip? Is SnowWhite that "old" as rumoured?? ;) VivYew
yep. almost did not manage to do that. was such a busy & tiring weekend!
yep. disneyland's crowd was pleasantly manageble. we were on the lull day too. tix price was about HK$100 more the day before cos it was some public hols. HK$295 for adults & HK$210 for kids.
yep. SIL was supposed to go with husband, but he had to work, so she brought her domestic help along instead.
not sure about snow white. was so busy keeping an eye on my 2 `puppies' (u see my 'walking' them?). anyway, there are few characters out for photo-shoot & meet & greet. mainly the white cat, 2 mice, 2 ducks, pooh, buzz. i went to orlando & there were heaps.
HK's much smaller, so altho time's shorter (10am-7pm), we could pretty mcuh cover all within that time frame. All but 1 ride (space mountain) did not have height restrictions. So u can imagine how kiddy friendly the place is. Even baby Bella was with us on the rides most of the time.
u planning on bringing tee lim?
hmm, will hv to think abt it. He was too scardy cat to try any (not even 1) of the rides at GC last yr. can u believe that it was only recently that he dared to "take on" those kiddy rides at the markets/malls??!!! how those small accidents adults don't even consider it one, can have such a huge impact on a baby.....rembr i mentioned abt the LITTLE knock he had on a ride when he was small?
plus think he was also too tired-out - can see from our pix that he was slumped in the stroller most of the time :/
the kids looked surprisingly perky in most pix. maybe they had each other for company, making the trip more enjoyable?
tiring for the adults though? was it a leisurely stroll thruout or a rush-rush affair?
did u spend all your time in HK at Disney, or had time for other places? VivYew
Was pleasant in HK Disneyland cos place was not huge & crowd was manageable.
Most pix taken in Disneyland & some in HK. We were in Macau, Shen Zhen & Zhu Hai, but we did not feel at ease. Taking out the camera would draw too much attention & may spell trouble.
Yes, the 2 kids were all over the place, & then comes early night, they'd be dead to the world.
I think it made a big difference that they had each other for company. I think it would have been boring without either. More fun for us adults too, to see the kiddies so happy :)
I think u can see it very evidently on Timo's face!
