Quinny Zapp
We succumbed to the design of Quinny Zapp. Well, at least for me. Andy loved the way it moved as he pushed it all around the MotherCare store. When I 1st saw it, I thought it looked queer. Somehow, the unique & sporty design grew on me as I saw more on the streets. Anyway, the deed was done this afternoon. It's our most expensive stroller to date, & our 6th one. This should be the last one. We went through 3 with Timo, & now, another 3 with Joshua.
And of course, Timo wanted something from the store too. We had to get him this pair of rubber boots that he insisted on getting. It was on sale, & would complement his Halloween outfit - Shark Boy. Then, of course, with Joshua's now old (only 3 months old) stroller vacant, who was so happy to lay claim on it, but Timo. We'll be bringing this to HK, & if it gets stolen or thrashed, so be it.

Wise decision to bring a light stroller to themepark. Did the same in Goldcoast - we cld almost kiss the "life-saver" for our limbs would hv gone limp from all the carrying. + it's a cheap one so there'll be no heartache if it got spoilt/lost. VivYew
wow, can't imagine getting so many strollers, but a lightweight one is quite tempting. We bought one esp for sturdiness and it's quite heavy and big though it'll be able to last till she's 22kg, however old she'll be then.
I like the Quinny too. Esp that one for young babies that look like a cradle. Looks so snug! But think it's over a $1000
Gosh!!! $1K?? then i'd rather my arms snap than burn a hole in my pockets ;) VivYew
there are a couple of models. some really ex, & some mid-range. got this for $350. it's our most ex to date.
slushy, think u may end up going thru a couple. looking around at friends & fam, this seems like the norm somehow. u'll find that 1 is good for something, & another good for another purpose, etc.
oh, & btw, viv, u are most cetainly right. i could kiss the stroller too!!! timo was like a baby all over again. he'll have lil cat naps in the the stroller & then wake up to enjoy his hols. andy & i heard comments like `so big & still in the stroller'. but i didn't give a damn. it was that or breaking my back carrying him when he was too exhausted to walk.
those ppl shld try lugging a >15kg sack of rice 1st.... so, the stroller still in 1 piece after the trip??? :) VivYew
