Tulip Day
For whatever reasons, Timo had been wanting to sell flowers on the streets. Thought Tulip Day would be appropriate. Timo gets to sell flowers & we get to do some charity work at the same time. Together with cuzzie Bryan, we headed down to the beach on this fine sunny Sunday, & somehow managed to sell close to 100 stalks of tulips in over an hour. This meant we had raised some $200 for the Children's Cancer Foundation. Was really knocked out in the afternoon, but the boys want to do it again next year??!!

this looks very meaningful for the kids to do. I recall reading about someone wanting to do this last year, was it you?
yep. tis me. entire family had sore eyes. didn't think anyone would appreciate us spreading that around by selling the tulips. u should try it when ainsley's a lil older. am sure she'll find it an interesting experience.
